Being involved with the Good News House project has been a great way to serve our neighbors in underserved
communities. Serving with Habitat allows our volunteer to gain unique skills and experiences not offered locally. We have been asked: Why don’t we do a project in Milan? Simply answered: Having the idea is easier than getting it done. Habitat is organized and structured to help us help others. However, if you feel called to plan for, supervise and fundraise for a local project, please put together a proposal for the Outreach and Finance Teams. |
United Women in Faith is a community of women that supports women, youth and children locally and around the world. Although the organization was organized by The United Methodist Church, you do not have to be a United Methodist woman to be a member. Our local Unit meets every second Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at the church. We hold a brief business meeting, followed by a program and light refreshments. Members take turns providing the program and refreshments. This fellowship with other women is so rewarding and educational. You will enjoy this time of sharing refreshing and uplifting.
We welcome all women of every faith persuasion (ages 16-100+). Please come and join us! |
